Play Area – Moosa Land – OMR Food Street (Navalur) – Autism Spectrum Disorder

in this post sharing about another play area visited by us recently …

The place name is Moosa Land, located inside the OMR Food Street in Navalur, right next to AGS Cinemas. Their website is http://www.moosaaland.com
About the place, it is a very small one, they have done a decent job with it.

Kids below certain height/age are not allowed. (We went along with our second child who is 1.8 years old less than 90 cms height, she was not allowed)
Only one parent can accompany one child.
There’s a waiting area in the balcony for the parents/adults, where the entire play area is visible to us, we can easily monitor our child.
Socks is Must for the child. For parents who are accompanying them, it is not required.
It is good to see a play area with decent AC, the place is air conditioned well.
The rest room facility is located inside the play area.
The negative aspect of any play area applies to this as well, i.e. the staffs. The staffs were not taking care / monitoring the kids, they are on the phones or chit chatting with themselves. When we went, they were religiously looking at pictures of different actresses and make ups done by them in the computer that is used for billing. The Front office person looked stern.
You have to pay in advance, before sending your kid to play. The packages starts from 30 mins, then you have 1 hr and 2 hr packages. For 30 mins it costs 230 Rs, for 60 mins it costs 300 Rs and for 2 hours it costs 350 Rs. For Socks additional 30 rs is charged.
It does not have arcade games, it is purely a play area.

Even though it would only take 30 mins for a kid to explore all these activities, i would suggest all parents to take the 60 mins package, which would be ideal from the cost perspective. The incremental cost is much lesser than availing two 30 mins packages.

The play area has: Ball pit with slide, Tunnel leading to spiral slider, Caterpillar Tunnel, a mini merry go around, Strawberry spinning ride .. Apart from that, they have toys like Car roller coaster, panda car, rockers, they had partitioned a portions of the place in to different rooms for role playing games like one is for Super Market, another for Doctor, and another for garage etc.

It is an one time visit place, kids beyond 4 years will not be interested in a repeat visit to this place, they will get bored quickly.
